There are several ski resorts that are easy to reach from Fara San Martino. They offer a variety of slopes and routes with ski instructors and rental equipment available. They are an ideal way to spend the day for both young and old, beginners and experts, enjoying winter sports.

The Alto Sangro District (which includes the towns of Roccaraso, Pescocostanzo, Rivisondoli, Pescasseroli, Barrea e Castel di Sangro) is 38 km from our residence and it offers an intricate array of lifts that join about 160 km of slopes for lovers of downhill, cross-country and nordic skiing.

On the northern side of Mount Majella, 45 km away, there are the Passolanciano and Majelletta resorts where it is possible to have the spectacular experience of viewing the Adriatic Sea while skiing.
